The HU Guarantee

The CS@HU department offers numerous connections and opportunities for students between industry, government agencies, and graduate schools.

For scholarship opportunities, refer to Section 6.5 - Scholarships.

For conferences, refer to Section 4.2 - Conferences.


Students are highly encouraged to either participate in internships or research programs in order to allow students to gain experience in the field.

The students who have had internships with the same company throughout their undergrad are much more likely to get a competitive job offer from said company.

The department is very adamant about students finding either a job or acceptance into graudate school upon graduation.


Accenture plc is the world's largest consulting firm as measured by revenues[6] and is a Fortune Global 500 company.

Accenture's current clients include 89 of the Fortune Global 100 and more than three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500.

ARTSI is a collaboration of institutions including 8 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and 7 Carnegie Research I Institutions.

Its main goal is increasing the amount of African Americans who study computer sciences and robotics in college.

Deloitte is one of the "Big Four" professional services firms along with PwC, EY, and KPMG and is largest professional services network in the world by revenue and by the number of professionals.

Deloitte provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services with more than 200,000 professionals in over 150 countries.

Lockheed Martin is an American global aerospace, defense, security and advanced technology company with worldwide interests and is one of the world's largest defense contractors

The mission of the STARS alliance is to increase participation of women, under-represented minorities, and persons with disabilities in computing disciplines through multi-faceted interventions.

    • have attended the annual STARS Corps Conference

    • recieve sponsorship from STARS for tutoring
